  • Co-Founders, Civic Soul

    Civic Soul was born from a friendship rooted in service. Leah and Caitlin met on a volunteer trip to Tijuana, where they experienced firsthand the power of showing up for others. That day sparked a shared desire to build something lasting—an organization where people could give back in ways that felt personal, joyful, and real.

    With Civic Soul, they created a space for volunteers to truly connect with communities in need—not just through giving, but through presence, empathy, and shared humanity. What started as a single day of service has grown into a movement that brings people together to uplift, inspire, and make a difference—one event at a time.

    Angela brings over 25 years of experience in tax and financial management to Civic Soul, where she helps guide the organization’s growth with care and precision.

    A proud University of Michigan–Dearborn alum and Enrolled Agent, she’s passionate about using her expertise to strengthen mission-driven work. Beyond the numbers, Angela finds joy in mentoring young professionals, volunteering her time, and supporting efforts that uplift and empower communities.
