CHLA Literally Reading Program hosted a spectacular book festival that featured over a dozen of today’s most popular children’s book authors and illustrators, including Drew Daywalt, Benson Shum, and Mirelle Ortega. They needed a little extra help and we were happy to provide volunteers, some food, and of course—more books!

Many of the children who first arrive at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles do not have books at home, but The Literally Reading Program makes sure that each child has at least one book when they leave! Each year, over 65,000 are gifted!
